Nuno designs reflect the beauty of Africa.

Nuno creates uniquely African Felt and Fused Natural Fibre Accessories, designed by Sue Kingma and hand crafted by talented artisans at their Cape Town Studio.

Quirky, original designs and innovative manufacturing techniques create opportunities for deserving young crafters. Nuno operates according to fair trade principles, supplying sustainable work in a business environment. Nuno felt is handmade and hand dyed from South African Merino and Karakul wool. No azo dyes are used, and jewellery is nickel-free.

Sue has exhibited her own art pieces on Innovative Threads, a juried international fibre art exhibition. In 2005, Nuno was the recipient of an Elle Decoration Design Award. Nuno became a Cape Craft Icon in 2007, in recognition of their contribution to craft and the upliftment of impoverished communities in the Western Cape. Nuno was selected to exhibit on the Cape Craft and Design Exhibition 2009 and 2010. Nuno supplies South African trade outlets, and exports to discerning customers in USA,. Canada, Europe, Scandinavia, Botswana, Namibia, Australia and Japan.
